TIP Technical Invention Prize 2017

Can I submit if I am not a technician?
Yes, as long as your idea is related to the works of technicians in theatre or any part of the entertainment industry.

Do I have to “invent” something?
Not necessary. TIP welcomes all kinds of simple and smart solutions. It can be your invention, or the improvement of existing gadgets and devices or new innovative ways of using such devices.

Submission
Submit your work before March 30, 2017 to tip@oistat.org. All entries should include:

  • The entry form
  • 1-3 drawings and/or photographs (each under 1MB) necessary for others to reproduce the device or invention. If selected, the images will be printed in black and white in TIP catalog.
  • All documents should bear the applicant’s name, i.e. Firstname_Lastname.jpg/docx.
